About the Role
The PGT - French will be responsible for delivering high-quality French language instruction to Grade 12 students, ensuring alignment with the Cambridge curriculum. The role requires effective classroom management, curriculum planning, and student assessment to achieve academic outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging French lessons to Grade 12 students in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum. - Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and styles. - Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and examinations. - Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide constructive feedback. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the French language program and participate in departmental meetings. - Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to the French language and culture.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment for all students. - Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns. Required Qualifications: - Master's degree in French or a related field. - B. Ed or equivalent teaching qualification. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum. - Certification in French language proficiency (e. g.
, DELF/DALF). Experience Requirements: Prior teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory. Fresh graduates with a strong command of the French language are encouraged to apply.
