About the Role
The PGT - Social Science will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Social Studies education to Grade 10 students. The role requires the teacher to develop and execute lesson plans that align with the CBSE curriculum, assess student progress, and contribute to their academic growth and understanding of social sciences. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging and effective Social Studies lessons for Grade 10 students, adhering to the CBSE curriculum. - Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress. - Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic development. - Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. - Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students. - Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to social sciences. - Stay updated with the latest educational trends and integrate relevant methodologies into teaching practices. Required Qualifications: - Master's degree in Social Science or a related field. - Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) from a recognized institution. - Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and examination patterns. - Experience in using digital tools and platforms for teaching. Experience Requirements: Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, though prior teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school is advantageous. Employment Details: Full-time position with standard school working hours and additional responsibilities as required by school events. Salary Information: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, in line with industry standards.
