About the Role
The Primary Teacher for Marathi will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to Grade 5 students, ensuring alignment with the Cambridge curriculum. The role requires the creation of engaging lesson plans, assessment of student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the Cambridge curriculum for Grade 5 Marathi. - Conduct daily classroom activities that engage students and promote language proficiency. - Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and examinations. - Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance and areas for improvement. - Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall educational experience. - Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions. - Ensure the safety and well-being of students during school hours. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Education (B. Ed) or equivalent. - Proficiency in Marathi language and literature. - Strong understanding of the Cambridge curriculum.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Education or Marathi. - Prior experience teaching Marathi at the primary level in a Cambridge-affiliated school. Experience Requirements: Open to candidates with any level of experience, though prior teaching experience is advantageous.
