About the Role
The Mathematics Teacher for Grade 10 will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the Cambridge curriculum. The role requires developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment to ensure students achieve their academic goals. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the Cambridge curriculum standards for Grade 10 Mathematics. - Conduct daily classroom instruction and facilitate engaging learning experiences. - Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations. - Provide timely feedback to students and parents on academic progress. - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the instructional environment and participate in professional development activities.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required. - Ensure classroom management and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field. - Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or equivalent teaching qualification. - Proficiency in English communication. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Mathematics or Education. - Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Experience in using digital tools for teaching. Experience Requirements: Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, though prior teaching experience in a similar setting is advantageous. Employment Details: Full-time position with standard school working hours and additional responsibilities as required by school events and activities.
