About the Role
The PGT - English will be responsible for delivering high-quality English education to Grade 10 students, ensuring alignment with CBSE standards. The role requires effective lesson planning, student assessment, and fostering a conducive learning environment to achieve academic outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the CBSE curriculum for Grade 10 English. - Conduct daily classes, ensuring active student engagement and understanding of the subject matter. - Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback. - Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance. - Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development initiatives. - Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to English literature and language.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and development. Required Qualifications: - Master's degree in English or related field. - Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) from a recognized institution. - Proficiency in English language and literature. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and examination patterns. - Strong classroom management skills. - Ability to integrate technology into teaching practices.
Experience Requirements: Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, though prior teaching experience in a CBSE school is advantageous. Employment Details: Full-time position with standard school working hours. Participation in school events and meetings beyond regular hours may be required. Salary Information: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, as per school norms.
