The Secondary Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to Grade 10 students, ensuring alignment with the Cambridge curriculum. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging science lessons for Grade 10, adhering to the Cambridge curriculum standards. - Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback. - Develop and implement laboratory experiments and practical sessions to enhance experiential learning. - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance. - Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches and share best practices.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development sessions. - Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment in the classroom and laboratory. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field. - Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or equivalent teaching qualification. - Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Science or Education.
