PGT - Art

The PGT - Art will be responsible for delivering high-quality art education to Grade 10 students, ensuring alignment with the Cambridge curriculum. The role requires the development and execution of lesson plans that inspire creativity and critical thinking, while assessing and supporting student progress. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the Cambridge curriculum for Grade 10 Art. - Facilitate engaging and interactive classroom sessions that encourage artistic expression and critical analysis. - Assess and evaluate student performance through projects, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback. - Maintain an organized and resourceful classroom environment conducive to learning and creativity. - Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches and participate in departmental meetings.

- Organize and oversee art exhibitions and events to showcase student work. - Stay updated with current trends and advancements in art education and incorporate them into teaching practices. - Provide additional support and guidance to students as needed, including after-school sessions. Required Qualifications: - Master's degree in Fine Arts or related field. - B. Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.

Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum. - Proficiency in digital art tools and techniques. Experience Requirements: Prior teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate a strong passion for art and education.
