About the Role
The PGT - Science will be responsible for delivering comprehensive science education to Grade 10 students, ensuring alignment with CBSE standards. The role demands a focus on student outcomes, curriculum delivery, and fostering an engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the CBSE curriculum for Grade 10 Science. - Conduct daily classes and manage classroom activities to ensure effective learning. - Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations. - Provide individual support to students to enhance their understanding and performance in science. - Maintain accurate records of students' academic performance and attendance.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development. - Organize and supervise science-related extracurricular activities and projects. - Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress and address any concerns. - Stay updated with the latest educational trends and integrate relevant technology into teaching. Required Qualifications: - Master's degree in Science or a related field. - Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) is mandatory.
- Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and examination patterns. - Experience in using digital tools and platforms for education. Experience Requirements: Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, though prior teaching experience at the secondary level is advantageous.
