PRT - Pre-primary Teacher
About the Role
The Pre-primary Teacher will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for young children. The role involves planning and executing age-appropriate educational activities that align with the Cambridge curriculum, fostering social, emotional, and cognitive development. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement daily lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of pre-primary students. - Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. - Assess and document student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regularly. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and participate in school events. - Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behavior in accordance with school policies.
- Incorporate play-based learning techniques to facilitate holistic development. - Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with educational best practices. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Education (B. Ed) or equivalent. - Fluency in English with excellent communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with the Cambridge curriculum. - Certification in Early Childhood Education.
Experience Requirements: Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, though prior experience in a similar role is advantageous. Employment Details: Full-time position with standard school working hours. Additional hours may be required for school events and meetings.
