About the Role
The PGT - Chemistry will be responsible for delivering high-quality chemistry education to Grade 5 students, ensuring alignment with the Cambridge curriculum. The role involves curriculum planning, classroom instruction, and student assessment to achieve educational outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the Cambridge curriculum for Grade 5 Chemistry. - Conduct engaging and interactive classroom sessions to facilitate student understanding of scientific concepts. - Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and examinations. - Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide feedback to students and parents. - Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development initiatives.
- Organize and supervise laboratory activities, ensuring safety and adherence to school protocols. - Provide additional academic support to students as needed, including remedial sessions. - Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest educational practices. Required Qualifications: - Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field. - Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or equivalent teaching qualification.
