About the Role
The PGT - Mathematics will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics instruction to pre-primary students, ensuring foundational numeracy skills are developed in alignment with the ICSE curriculum. The role requires creating a supportive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and a love for mathematics. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver daily mathematics lessons tailored to pre-primary students, ensuring alignment with the ICSE curriculum. - Develop and implement age-appropriate instructional materials and activities that engage young learners in mathematical concepts. - Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide feedback to students and parents. - Maintain an organized and resource-rich classroom environment conducive to learning. - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate mathematics with other subjects and school activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with educational best practices. - Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and any concerns. - Ensure the safety and well-being of students during school hours. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field. - B. Ed or equivalent teaching qualification. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with the ICSE curriculum.
- Experience in teaching mathematics to young learners. Experience Requirements: Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, though prior experience in teaching pre-primary or primary grades is advantageous. Employment Details: Full-time position based at Christ International School. Salary Information: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, in line with industry standards.
