About the Role
The PGT - Mathematics is responsible for delivering Grade 10 Mathematics instruction in alignment with the ICSE curriculum. The role involves planning and conducting lessons, assessing student performance, and fostering a conducive learning environment to ensure student success. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver daily Mathematics lessons for Grade 10, ensuring alignment with the ICSE curriculum. - Engage students through clear and effective concept delivery and interactive teaching methods. - Develop and administer assessments to monitor and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback. - Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress for reporting and analysis. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and participate actively in departmental meetings.
- Provide additional academic support to students requiring extra help to achieve learning objectives. - Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with educational best practices. - Contribute to school events and extracurricular activities as required. Required Qualifications: - Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field. - Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or equivalent teaching qualification. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with the ICSE curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience Requirements: Open to candidates with varying levels of experience; prior experience in teaching ICSE curriculum is advantageous.
